Julian Ide - Chief Executive Officer Julian Ide holds the dual role of Old Mutual Asset Management's Head of Global Distribution and CEO Old Mutual Asset Managers (UK). Julian joined OMAM from BBVA Asset Management where he was the Head of Institutional Business. Prior to joining BBVA, Julian spent most of his career in a number of senior roles at Merrill Lynch Mercury, ABN AMRO Asset Management and Credit Suisse Asset Management. Julian holds a degree in Law from the University of Cambridge. |

Paul Nathan - Chief Operating Officer Paul Nathan joined OMAM in January 2012 as chief operating officer, working closely with the CEO in the day to day running of the business. He is responsible for operations, technology, finance, risk, compliance, legal and HR. He previously worked for OMAM as director of risk (2005-2009) and then as chief operating officer (2007-2009), before taking up the role of COO of Oxford University's Saïd Business School (2009-2011). He began his career in 1989 at Bristows, a London law firm specialising in intellectual property, where he practised as a solicitor. He then joined The Energy Group on its demerger from Hanson in 1997, where he became Head of Group Strategy. After a brief period at a telecoms start-up, he joined Old Mutual plc's UK head office in 2000 where he held a variety of strategic and M&A roles, before joining OMAM. He holds an MA (Oxon) in physics from St. Catherine's College, Oxford and an MBA from INSEAD in Fontainbleau. |

Simon Wilson - Sales & Marketing Director
Simon Wilson was appointed to his current position as Marketing Director in 2008, having joined OMAM as Head of Marketing in 2004. Before this he was Head of Marketing at Govett Investments, prior to which he spent over 10 years in various marketing roles in Old Mutual’s UK and international investment businesses. |

Douglas Streatfield - Chief Technology & Operations Officer Douglas Streatfield joined OMAM in 2001 from Invesco Perpetual, where he spent three years as a senior project manager and software development team leader. Before this, Douglas held a number of positions within banking, insurance and finance, including senior management, project specific and technical roles at National Westminster Bank, BUPA and Cornhill Insurance. |

Meekal Hashmi - General Counsel
Meekal Hashmi joined OMAM in 2006 as a senior lawyer and was appointed General Counsel in 2007. Prior to OMAM he worked at Baring Asset Management (Barings), where he advised on the legal aspects of a wide range of services undertaken by the Barings group companies (2002-06). He previously worked at hedge fund administrator Citco (1999-2001) and Clifford Chance (1997-99). He began his legal career in 1995 as a trainee solicitor at Trowers & Hamlins. Meekal qualified as a solicitor in 1997. He holds a BSc in Psychology from Edinburgh University (1992) and a Masters in International Finance & Banking Law (LLM) from the London School of Economics (1995). |

Ashton Bradbury - Head of Equities
Ashton Bradbury joined OMAM in September 2000, focusing on UK mid cap and smaller company funds prior to being appointed to his current position in April 2008. Prior to this he was at Hill Samuel Asset Management (HSAM), initially as Head of UK Smaller Companies and subsequently as Head of UK Retail (1999-2000). He rejoined HSAM from HSBC Asset Management, where he was Head of Smaller Companies (1995-98), having previously worked at HSAM as a smaller companies fund manager (1991-95). He originally joined HSAM from Charterhouse Tilney, which he joined as a graduate trainee, before becoming an investment manager (1988-91). Ashton has a BSc in Banking & Finance from Loughborough University. |

Stewart Cowley - Head of Fixed Income
Stewart Cowley joined OMAM in June 2009 from Newton Investment Management where he was Head of Fixed Income and manager of the &P AAA-rated Newton International Bond and BNY Mellon Global Bond funds (2000-09). Prior to this he was Joint Chief Investment Officer and Head of Global Fixed Interest at Hill Samuel Asset Management (1995-98), having previously been Head of Global Fixed Interest at Invesco Asset Management (1993-95). He began his career at Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette in 1987 as a fixed income sales trader, before switching to fund management. Stewart has a BSc in Physics from Manchester University (1982) and a DPhil in Physics from Oxford University (1987), and is a Member of the Securities Institute. |

Paul Simpson - Head of Systematic Investments
Paul is a veteran of capital markets. Starting initially in risk management with a focus on fixed income products he switched to equity proprietary trading in the early 1990s. Paul spent many years gaining experience in major houses such as Deutsche Bank and UBS, trading a wide range of equity market neutral and arbitrage strategies. At HSBC he ran the program trading desk in addition to multi-strategy proprietary trading, gaining exposure to algorithmic trading and advanced execution technology. Switching to investment management he was PM on a successful merger arbitrage fund at DPFM, later concentrating on statistical arbitrage, with 2 years as a PM at Millennium Partners. He joined Old Mutual in 2006, opening first the European Statistical Arbitrage Fund, and then in 2007 its successor the current Global Statistical Arbitrage Fund. Since 2008 he has been head of Systematic Investments at OMAM, having managerial responsibility for the managed futures and quantitative multi-factor investment processes in addition to statistical arbitrage, and activities covering hedge funds, OEICS and UCITs funds. Paul has a BA in Economics from Cambridge University (1980) and an MBA from the University of Bradford Management Centre (1986). |
